This style features a strong ridgid wall, suitable for use with automatic filling and capping machines. The jars are straight sided, to allow for a large printing and decorating area. There is a bead around the top of the jar, just under the thread, which helps to protect the printed side wall of the container during shipping. This bead also helps secure a tamper evident shrink band, when one is used.
